GHOST BLASTER--a free ectoplasmic splatterfest from ravensblight.com
---------------------------------------------------------------------
To Launch The Game: Just click the RUN icon in this folder (it's the
one with the green dot in the center).

STORY: Nobody believed you when you told them the cemetery was
filled with evil green ghosts who throw exploding skulls. So you
built your own particle weapon and hid in a corner of the cemetery,
determined to eliminate the spirits. Now it's midnight and the
caretaker has locked the gates. Can you destroy all the ghosts
and escape with your life?

CONTROLS: You'll only need a few controls to play this game.
Start the game and press F12 for a list of control keys.
To move, you'll need FORWARD, BACKWARD, STRAFE LEFT and STRAFE RIGHT.
Use your mouse to turn and aim, and use the left mouse button for
FIRE. Press X to toggle the CROSSHAIR.
The game can be played without a crosshair, but newer players will
find it helpfull to use one. You may notice it's off a little...that's
because it's actually scratched onto the lens of your shades (which
you wear at night, you're THAT cool) and is therefor not entirely
accurate. But it'll get you by.

SURVIVAL: The key to staying alive is to STAY MOVING! The ghosts
can't turn or move as quickly as you can, so you can keep from being
hit by strafing sideways and by circling around them. Moving backwards
will give you more time to take aim. Damage varies with distance, but
eight shots will usually be enough to destroy each ghost. You start
with 200 health points, and your remaining health is shown in the
lower lefthand corner of your screen.

are visual representations, not actual apparitions, and thus should
leave little or no actual ectoplasmic residue in your computer.
The glass in your monitor screen, however, is NOT guaranteed to be
thick enough to withstand the impact of exploding skulls, but so far
there haven't been any major problems.
